OOTD 4/23/16: Impact Magazine's Cocktails and Conversations

This past weekend was so much fun! the Amazing Tunisha Brown of Impact magazine brought her 'Cocktails and Conversations' event to Trenton NJ which featured many entrepreneurs of color. The special guest was Ming Lee (@IamMingLee) owner of SnobLife a hair and cosmentic company. I was excited to be going to a networking event locally, i'm usually traveling distances for these things. I wanted to have some fun with my wardrobe for this event. Lets see shall we? 

My sequin blazer was a thrift store finding that i found over 3 years ago, I created my sequin pants to match the blazer to give honor to the legendary Prince who just passed away. (He will be missed.) 
I completed my  look with black accent pieces like the bow tie and the penny loafers to give a very fun twist to cocktail hour attire. see more photos of the look and from the event below. 

Snapped a picture with Inspirational Speaker Ayana Iman ( @AyanaIman ), Fitness model Taja Hall, and Textile's designer Shahedah Williams during the event. These ladies are phenomenal! 

And of course I snapped a shot with the fab MingLee before heading to her private suite party!

The night was great I had so much fun!
